Join us for EHSC’s Science Seminar with Sarah Sharpe, Deputy Executive Director of the Central California Asthma Collaborative (CCAC) and incoming Co-Director of EHSC’s Community Advisory Committee. CCAC empowers Central California communities through service, research, advocacy, and data-driven solutions to reduce the burden of asthma.

A proud southeast Fresno native, Sarah has built a career at the intersection of education, community, and the environment. From teaching in New York City to leadership roles at the U.S. EPA and California Public Utilities Commission, she’s brought her expertise back home to shape policy, programs, and community health. Inspired by her family’s own experiences with asthma, Sarah is dedicated to building healthier, more connected communities across California.
